A big longleaf pine tree photographed by W.F. Jacobs (1941 Florida.Florida Forest Service) near Lake Helen, Florida. Tree circumference was 8.9 feet, diameter 2.82 feet. The man in the picture is unknown. The fate of this particular tree is also unknown.
