I was flipping through my June 2002 Field and Stream Magazine and an advertisement in the back from Quail Unlimited caught my eye. Although I'm not advocating either Quail Unlimited nor their promotion in the magazine, the picture includes a longleaf/wiregrass forest that is quite breathtaking--and reminiscent of those I see in southwestern Georgia.
